Notary Public
Notaries are appointed by the Supreme Court pursuant to the Public Notaries Act 1997(NSW) and the Public Notaries Appointment Rules 1998.
As a Notary Public, Tony Cox is comparable to an International Justice of the Peace with most of the work requested being:
- authenticating official, Government and personal documents and information for use overseas;
- witnessing signatures of individuals to documents and authenticating identity;
- certifying true copies of documents for use overseas; and
- dealing with documentation for land, property and deceased estates overseas.
If required, Tony can also prepare legal documents, such as a Power of Attorney, for use overseas.
Justice of the Peace
Justice of the Peace (JPs) are appointed by the Governor of New South Wales to certify copies of original documents and to witness the making of Statuary Declarations or Affidavits.
JP services are voluntary positions and do not incur fees.
We have several JP’s who are available to assist if you require such service.
